High-proportion alloy


 

 High-proportion alloy materials is a kind of alloy using tungsten as matrix, (content of W is 85-99%) together with the alloy composed of different kinds of metal elements, such as Fe 、Ni、Cu、Co、Mo、Cr etc.. For its high density of 16.5-19.0g/cm3, people call it high-proportion alloy. It enjoys a series of excellent characteristics: a larger proportion than common materials (16.5-18.75g/cm3); higher strength (its tensile strength is 700-1000Mpa); 30-40% stronger ray absorption than lead; 5 times larger thermal conductivity coefficient than die steel; low thermal expansion coefficient (only 1/2-1/3 of that of iron or steel); outstanding electricity conductivity, weldability and processability. In view of the above excellent functions of high-proportion alloy, it has been widely used in aerospace, military, petroleum drilling, electric appliances & instruments, medical industries, etc.
